My Dearest Tullia,
It’s funny that you should mention Troilo Orsini. He attended the salon again yesterday evening. What an elegant and eloquent gentleman he is. It’s funny how different cousins can be. Perhaps it is the difference between Rome and Florence? One is gregarious and one refined. One of a subtle palate and one more hedonistic. One of naked ambition and one of refined discipline.
It does take so many different people to make this world go round. We are fortunate to taste the sweetness of so many different fruits, each in their own season.
I trust you are well dear Tullia? You will certainly let me know if you are in need of any assistance.
I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Warmest Personal Regards,
